One such incident is from South Florida city of America. The police have accused a family in which the mother and her son run a brothel along with their family business. In this, the sex worker was paid according to the condom used.
Police say 28-year-old Glynn Yann Zuniga Latin and his 52-year-old mother, Amparo Latin Barillas, are suspected of not only selling 15-minute romances but also offering children for sex. According to news outlet WPEC, the brothels were allegedly being run from the home in South Florida, US. During this, a sex worker was paid according to the number of condoms he got in a shift.
Undercover client “Johns” was dispatched after police gathered evidence on the brothel and reported girls as young as 15 offering it to men for money. According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the investigation claims the 52-year-old mother Barillas worked on the doorstep and took a $50 (£40) cash payment in exchange for the card.
Authorities claim a sex worker accused Barillas of making her work three days a week for a paltry rate of just $25 (£20) per client. With an average of 8 to 10 customers a day, the sex worker said she is paid based on the number of condoms used in the room at the end of her shift.
Bank records show the couple regularly deposited cash into their accounts, yet they had no evidence of any other income. Latin and Barillas were arrested earlier this month and charged with making money from prostitution and running a brothel.
